Property：

This product is a light yellow transparent liquid, with a boiling point of 124 ℃ (760mmHg) and a decomposition temperature of 76-77 ℃. Can be diluted with the solvent specified by the customer. Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents, specific gravity (25 ℃) 1.036-1.045, refractive index (25 ℃) 1.495-1.500.

Purpose:

1. High pressure polyethylene (LDPE) is an excellent medium temperature initiator, commonly used in tubular or kettle processes. It can be combined with initiators PV (tert butyl peroxybutyrate), OT (tert butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexoate), TBPD (tert butyl peroxyneodecanoate), and diisopropylbenzene peroxide to form a composite catalyst system, resulting in better polymerization performance.

2. In the styrene suspension polymerization process, the combination of initiator C and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is the most commonly used initiator for styrene or styrene copolymers.

3. In the polymerization process of acrylic esters, the use of initiator C instead of azo initiator reduces the toxicity in the resin. It can also be used for the polymerization reaction of vinyl acetate.

4. It is a high-temperature curing agent for unsaturated polyester. This product is widely used in the curing process of unsaturated polyester such as fiberglass, coatings, adhesives, etc., such as in the molding processes of SMC, BMC, DMC. It is the preferred curing agent for high-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester, and has very ideal curing effects for both compression molding and pultrusion molding. If a composite initiator system is composed of BPO, TBPEH, CH and other initiators, the effect is better.

5. It is a good vulcanizing agent for most rubbers (excluding isobutylene rubber).

6. It will greatly increase its cetane number when added to the oil.

Packaging and transportation:

Storage precautions:

1. Store in a cool and ventilated space, with a warehouse temperature not exceeding 30 ℃.

2. Keep away from sparks and heat sources. It should be stored separately from acids, reducing agents, inflammables, combustibles, reducing agents, etc.

3. The lighting and ventilation facilities in the storage room are explosion-proof, with switches located outdoors.

4. When handling, care should be taken to prevent damage to packaging and containers, and impact and oscillation are prohibited. Personal protection should be taken during packaging and handling operations.

Product validity period:

Store and transport in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The product quality can be guaranteed within six months.

Fire protection:

1. This product may decompose violently due to heating, and will ignite violently. A small amount of small fires should be put out quickly with foam or dry powder extinguishers.

2. The fire should be quickly evacuated to a safe distance and rescued with a water gun, and the fire department should be notified for handling.
