Purpose:
1. Polymer cross-linking agent: It is an organic peroxide cross-linking agent that can be widely used in various polymers, especially for polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE) and ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers. The cross-linking temperature is above 170 ℃, and no cross-linking occurs below 140 ℃. The dosage is 0.5% -3% (W/W), which is generally 1% -5% in some materials that are not prone to crosslinking.
2. It is a high-temperature vulcanizing agent for vinyl silicone rubber: it is also an excellent vulcanizing agent for other types of rubber. Rubber vulcanized with this product has outstanding advantages such as high tensile strength and high hardness.
3. It is an excellent degradation agent for polypropylene: the degradation temperature is 200-220 ℃, and the dosage is 0.01-0.1%. It can be made into rheological polypropylene with low molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, and high melt index. It can be used as an important initiator for high-speed spinning materials, coating materials, film materials, and casting plastics, and is the preferred raw material for producing cooling masterbatches.
4. It is a high-temperature curing agent for unsaturated polyester.
Packaging and transportation:
Our peroxide products are packaged according to international standards, including 5kg, 15kg, 20kg, etc. They can also be supplied according to customer requirements, all using PE material packaging.
Storage precautions:
1. Store in a cool and ventilated space, with a warehouse temperature not exceeding 30 ℃.
2. Keep away from sparks and heat sources. It should be stored separately from acids, reducing agents, inflammables , combustibles, reducing agents, etc.
3. The lighting and ventilation facilities in the storage room are explosion-proof, with switches located outdoors.
4. When handling, care should be taken to prevent damage to packaging and containers, and impact and oscillation are prohibited. Personal protection should be taken during packaging and handling operations.
Shelf life:
Store and transport in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The product quality can be guaranteed within three months.
Safety test:
Drop hammer sensitivity: greater than 60 centimeters
Friction sensitivity: greater than 700 kg/cm2
Pressure vessel test: 1.8mm
Self accelerating decomposition temperature (SADT): 80 ℃
Alarm temperature: 75 ℃
Destruction method:
1. Dilution incineration: Dilute the products to be destroyed with inexpensive solvents such as sprinkling, waste oil, etc. to less than 10% and then incinerate them under controlled conditions.
2. Hydrolysis: Prepare a methanol or isopropanol solution of caustic soda at a rate of 20% -30%, and then add the product to be destroyed to a caustic soda solution about 10 times its weight, stirring while adding until the hydrolysis is complete.
3. Users must notify the manufacturer to send specialized personnel to handle the destruction of a large number of products to avoid accidents.
Splash treatment:
1. If the product enters the eye by mistake, the eyelids should be immediately opened and rinsed with flowing water for 15 minutes before seeking medical attention.
2. If accidentally splashed onto the skin, immediately rinse thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention.
3. If the product splashes or leaks onto the ground, it should be absorbed by sand, vermiculite, or other inert materials, and then collected in plastic drums with non sparking tools, and transported to a waste disposal site. And rinse the contaminated ground with water.
Fire protection:
1. This product may decompose violently due to heating, and may ignite violently. A small amount of small fires should be put out quickly with foam or dry powder extinguishers.
2. The fire should be quickly evacuated to a safe distance and extinguished with a water gun, and the fire department should be notified for handling.
